West offers weekday and weekend (6-Week and some 8-Week&#8211;NEW IN 26-27!) program options for children and adults of all abilities. Our passionate instructors are trained and ready to help everyone be better skiers and riders. West&#8217;s Ski &amp; Ride School is a certified member school of the Professional Ski Instructors of America.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the 26-27 programs is now OPEN! Registration discount cut-off dates for the 2026\/2027 programs are: 4\/15, 10\/15, and 11\/15. The last day to register is 12\/15 without a late fee.<\/p>\n<p>If you already have an RFID card, 26-27 programs can be loaded beginning March 30, 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/westmountain.com\/reload\/\">HERE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will be grouped by age and ability, skiers\/snowboarders of all levels will have 6 weeks or 8 week depending on the program (not including MLK Weekend and February Break) working to develop new skills and make new friends.<\/li>\n<li>Program pass (lift pass valid all day on the days of the programs) will be given out on the first day of programming.<\/li>\n<li>Programs do not run during holiday periods. Participants are grouped by similar age and ability in a 1.5 hour group lesson each week that begins at 11am. Following the lessons, participants enjoy lunch together in the Main Lodge at 12:30pm. The program also includes an all-day lift pass valid on the days of the program.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch includes:<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd sandwich<\/p>\n<p>A cup of soup or chips or fries<\/p>\n<p>And a large fountain drink or a large coffee or hot chocolate\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>*The pass is only valid for the 6 weeks of the program. Registration for the 26-27 Intro to Racing 6-Week Program opens March 1!<\/p>\n<p>The WMR Intro to Racing 6-Week Program is a fun, non-competitive, non-travel development\u00a0program for ALL MOUNTAIN SKIERS (ages 6-13)\u00a0who are interested in becoming a WMR ski racer. All participants must be able to ski all terrain also be able to ride the lift alone. The program begins Saturday, January 2, 2027\u00a0and meets on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 9am-2pm and\u00a0runs for 6 consecutive weeks.\u00a0Race coaches will help your child develop the proper fundamental movements, skills and race tactics, and will introduce the students to gate training in a fun learning environment. Children cannot register for this program for more than one season without previous authorization.
