West Mountain started using the RFID Chip-embedded West Express Card that triggers and opens the new access gates that are located at each lift. One of the best features of RFID…..your ticket time for skiing starts the first time you go through one of the access gates. When you pass through the lift line, this circuit will register and open an access gate automatically for hands-free and streamlined lift access.

RFID and West Mountain Season Pass and ticket Holders

Beginning in 22-23, Season Passes and tickets will look and feel very different. The RFID-enabled West Express Card will open the new access gates and allow for lift loading. With the card’s durability, your Season Pass or ticket will be conveniently re-loadable HERE using the WTP number located on the card! As always, your Season Passes and tickets are for personal use only, non-transferable, and cannot be resold. 22-23 Season Passes can be picked up at the front desk inside the Main Lodge beginning Wednesday, December 7. Do not have more than one RFID card on you at a time, including RFID cards from other resorts. Most modern ski/snowboard jackets have a built-in RFID pocket located on the lower left sleeve, which is ideal to keep your RFID card separate from other objects.

WHAT ABOUT LANYARDS, KEYRINGS, RETRACTABLE PASS HOLDERS, ETC.?

You will not need to remove your RFID card from your pocket for lift access unless there is a card read error.
